"Arts in the Orchard"
2017 North Mountain Arts Festival @ Orr's Farm Market will be celebrating our 11th
year, on June 3rd and 4th. This is a juried Arts and Crafts Festival with Artisans
throughout our area and further. The 2015 and 2016 Festivals at Orr's Farm Market
has been a proven success due to the venue location, the Orr Family and Crew and
the Artisans and customers that have come to enjoy a day of family fun.
This upbeat and popular celebration of Art and Artistry has grown over the years to
become a standard in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, and anticipate this
the 11th year of a dream will prove to be the best with more artisans and more
entertainment for the entire family to enjoy. Orr's Farm Market and Orchard in
Berkeley County is the perfect host and rural setting for the Arts and Artistry that id
North Mountain Arts Festival.
Over 50 juried Artists and Artisans will be showing their work this year. This is a
TWO DAY - FREE, outdoor event set among the vineyard, apple, peach and cherry
trees, strawberries, blueberries, bison, goats, llamas, and fresh air. Participants in
this show are regional, coming from West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland
and surrounding areas.. Patrons can browse top-quality works of potters, painters,
jewelers, sculptors, glass artists, gourd art, wood carving, fiber art and much more.
This lively event includes musicians, food vendors and creative
demonstrations...and of course fresh vegetables and produce of the orchard.
Pick your own fruits are a feature at Orr's Farm Market from May through November,
weather permitting. Tractor rides to the patches where patrons can relax and enjoy
the serenity of the fields. For those that don't wish to pick their own fruit, it is
available in the Farm Market as well as Fresh Baked items also available.

Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday the. Bring the whole family and enjoy the festivities.

This year we are again able to help the Berkeley County Back Pack Program. Steve
Reneker of Hillbilly Cigar Box guitars has offered a beautiful hand built cigar box
guitar to be raffled off to benefit the Back Pack Program. The tickets will be
